Nice Print Photography palpak na naman

Just went to the office of Nice Print Photo in Pasig to get our long-overdue wedding album, guest book and edited videos in dvd. Its been 6 months since our wedding. The problem this time is that we weren’t able to get our unedited copies of the wedding video, and the final edited DVD has no label of our name and date of wedding  even if we called them several times to confirm if everything is prepared before we go to their office… we want to avoid traveling to get there as much as possible as it will take us a total of 6 hrs to get there (traffic/hassle included :( ). I’m not sure whose fault it is this time as their pointing blame at each other (as they usually do)
I wanna warn everyone about the low quality and unsatisfactory service we received with them. From unfriendly employee, to inconsiderate and faulty scheduling of the editing/printing of our albums. They promised and said in the contract that our photo albums/video will be within us after 2 months but we got it after 6 months.
:( we are really unhappy and we believe they are NOT worth the huge amount of money that we paid them.

We DON’T recommend Nice Print Photo on your Wedding Events.


Update (5/22/2009)
We got the video already last May 16, saturday.
Our wedding was dec and its already may, hence I said its 6 months already.
It’s not the “very next day” as charisse said in the comments, it took them another week when we requested before they sent the video via LBC (May 4-May 16).

We’ve made numerous attempt to try and contact the owner or even just the secretary of their boss to address the issue directly with them. I called the office for maybe 10 times to ask to pls set some appointment so they can hear what happened with us.

Here’s the different events that happened

Nov 30
Pre nuptial
very short time/hrs alloted with the camerman.

Dec 6
Wedding day
We received our guestbook on time, the layout is good but it’s only 5 pages. As written in our contract it should be 10 pages and the added additional pages does not look good.

Feb 27
Received text from Jun, album layout ready for viewing. We requested him to just email the layout.

Mar 3
Received layout via email, 1st layout.

Mar 9
Replied and sent the revision. revisions are wrong spellings and captions and just a few reorganizations of pictures

April 14
We received another mail for revised and final layout

Apr 20
Nice print texted: dvd-edited video is ready for pickup.
but the album is still isnt ready so we decided to wait till everything is ready.

May 1
called again to check if everything is ready before we go there. they said delivery will only be on May 3 (sunday)

May 3
Called via phone again before we went to their office, asked if everything is really ready including the videos. they said yes.

May 4
Went to Niceprint to get Wedding DVD video and photo album, and wall frame but the edited-video isnt ready yet, waited for 30 mins as they just recorded it at the time we arrive the office. opposite to what they said it was ready for pickup.
The DVD has no labels, pictures and the unedited video is not ready.
We requested to pls just send it to our home via lbc as we can’t afford anymore time and money to go again there, since this is their mistake.
We tried to watch the video for a few minutes in the office, we didnt tested the whole dvd as we trusted it was ok. when we got home that night I immidiately tried to copy the dvd video, but the 2nd half of the dvd isnt working right.

May 15
It took another week before they can send the video via LBC.

May 16
Video received… finally.

We wont list all of different mistakes and disappointments that we had over the past months.
It’s too time consuming, and we feel that its not necessary anymore.

I think that instead of avoiding and denying all of these complaints you are having. You could have started with a simple apology which we didnt get since the beginning of the different mistakes we encountered.

and I should mentioned you texted last night
“For what it’s worth, our apologies…”
that’s the first apology we got. It doesnt feel sincere though.
Apology accepted but we just wont be using your services again next time with what happened
and wont be recommending it to our family and friends.

i just want to comment about your blog regarding our company Niceprint. first of all, id like to inform you that we never ever promised that we will be able to give you the finished products in 2months time. please read your contract again, it clearly states that we will be done 3-6months from THE TIME YOU SUBMITTED YOUR CHOSEN PHOTOS FOR THE ALBUM. Based on our records, you only submitted last February 2009. if we count the months, we were able to give you everything less than 3months sir. just want to clear things and hopefully give a fair side of the story. regarding the unedited video, if you werent able to get them the day you went to the office, its due to the fact that the person in charge had an emergency that morning and went to work afternoon. but we were able to send them to you the very next day thru LBC, so you need not go back to our office. we tried our best to deliver everything immediately sir. so i hope that this clears the issue. thank you

Hello, hope everything is ok now in your end. We also got NICEPRINT as our wedding supplier for photo and video, so far we are VERY DISSATISFIED and still struggling to get what is due for us.

If I may, I would post the comments I posted on blissful-weddings.com about NICEPRINT. For some reason, it was deleted. Good thing there is a cache.

I am also wondering, ever since I posted my VERY BAD experiences about NICEPRINT, Charrise Tinio was able to squeeze time to POST a reply and defend her very own company, but she never did have time to contact us directly to explain or even apologize. You are correct that this low-profile company does not know how to apologize, from Charrise down to her staff. So VERY PROFESSIONAL — NOT! And they keep on claiming that they are 5 years in the business and have served many satisfied couples.

NO! It was our biggest mistake to choose NICEPRINT. For a few more thousand pesos, we should have opted for other service providers. Bad!

Here are our disappointments:

a. AVP is not correct. We keep on saying to them to let us view the AVP beforehand, but they keep on saying that it is their “SURPRISE GIFT” to us and can only be viewed on the weddin day. Guess what? They goofed! Music skips. Good thing I created my own version of AVP and we played that instead. AVP is presented on a blank DVD disc, not personalized. Para kang nagpa-burn sa tabi-tabi! We had the AVP corrected, but still it is messed up. The excuse of their boss — AVP is a freebie on the package and as such it is not of utmost importance to us.

b. Signature frame was messed. Lukot-lukot, lalo na sa bandang mukha ng misis ko. I dont know how they handle their good before it reaches their clients, but from the looks of it, not good.

c. Videographer and photographer are amateurs! More than 6 months before we signed our contract with them, they told us to browse the works of their photographers so that they will be booked for our wedding. We chose based on the pictures they handed us, but the photographer didnt showed up. They didnt even have the nerve to call us prior to wedding that our preferred photographer is not available. Accodring to their boss Charisse Tinio, it is NOT their responsibility to contact clients prior to the wedding that the preferred photographer will not be available.

c.Raw photo shots looks amateur! We thought they will cover up for their mistake when they layout the photo, using photoshop. No! What you see in the raw photo, thats what you get in the final layout! Pics are not centered, not cropped, not edited, and they submitted it to us saying that it is ready for printing! We had it revised several times but still they cant do what we want. I had to babysit their editor so that he can do what we want!

d. They dont give the raw video. They are saying that it is not included in the package. The edited video even looks worse, most of the time the face of my bride is BLACK because the videographer is taking shots against the light. Doesnt he know how to shoot properly. Worst part, it didnt contain the segments we want. Their excuse — Video is taken as MTV style, and there is only have 1 videographer and he cannot cover the whole event.

I thought the AVP was free, and being FREE, it is not of utmost imporance. THEN, what is of utmost importance to them?

Their boss Charisse Tinio doesnt even know how to apologize. Dont waste your Php40,000 and dont waste your time. NICEPRINT is not worth it.

Kinasal kami December 27,2008, buntis na misis ko, hanggang ngayon wala pa rin ung mga items namin. 36K na an bayad namin sa 40K. Haaay buhay. F*** NICEPRINT.

Sorry to hear you’re having bad experience with them too.

We got the everything we paid for so we wont say anything more and we’ll just move on…
It’s up to them to take the comments we posted and learn from it.
Clearly, they have to do something to improve their services.

Hello. I will pay a visit to their office today to get the edited video. Hope everything will turn ok today. Everytime they tell that the edited video is ready for viewing, we go to their office only to find out that the revisions we discussed were not implemented. That was always the case for the 5 visits we did. Hope they really learn from their mistake.

This has been an ongoing issue and Charisse personally called me today to discuss and to apologize for the issues and inconveniences we had. They will be sending a free coffebook to compensate for the shortcomings. They also replaced the signature frame with a new one, and they will also fix the issue with the parent album. As agreed upon, they will be sending the edited video tonite to our place via LBC or via hand-carry by their staff. I was assured that I can contact her anytime via SMS, CALL, or EMAIL should there still be an issue.

The free coffeebook and signature frame will not compensate the frustrations and troubles we encountered, and the time spent going back and forth to their office in Pasig. We cannot repeat the wedding anymmore as it is only a one-day event which is a very significant part in our lives as a couple. We hope we have relayed our message and NICEPRINT takes everything as constructive criticism to better improve their service. Nobody wants these, we also suffered from these issue. We invested most of our budget during the wedding in photography and videography since this will be the only remembrance we can share to our relatives, friends and future kids. We just want to get what is due to us.

Hope this puts a closure to the ongoing issues we are having.

May nakapag kwento sa akin na (insider ng studio na to) na di raw marunong mag trato ng mga employees yang studio na yun. magaling lang daw yung boss nila pag may kailangan sa tao nito pero pag yung mga employees na niya ang may kailangan eh ewan nalang kung pansinin ka nyan kahit tumirik pa ang mata mo sa harap nya ay ignore to the highest level daw ang boss nila. at akala mo daw na napakataas ng salary na binibigay eh mas mataas pa raw yung salary ng janitors ng sm mall of asia.

I also had a very bad experience with them on the wedding day itself. Yung mga tao nila kala mo kung sino makapag-utos ng ibang suppliers at ang yayabang kumilos.

Tapos maaarte pa sa pagkain, ayaw ng crew meal gusto buffet. Palibhasa nakita nila may mga bakanteng table. Siyempre, puwede lang sila kumain doon kapag may go signal na. Hindi sila guests noh! Suppliers sila. Ang mahal kaya per head sa hotel. Nung nakita nila naka-pack meal sila, mag-walk out ba???

Pasalamat sila pinuslit pa sa loob ng banquet hall yung meal nila. Bawal talaga yun. Ang arrangement sa car park sila kakain. Buti nga hindi na sila pinalabas ng hotel at maglakad ng pagkalayo-layo para lang kumain. Instead of being thankful, mag-sungit ba naman???!!!

Hello there. Salamat sa mga post ninyo dito. at least we have an idea of the services NICE PRINT has to offer.

And you know what? pag sinearch mo yung “nice print photography comments”, itong blog na ito ang unang-unang lalabas. Anyways, I am getting married next year (jan2010) and nakita namen itong company na ito. pag tinignan mo nga yung package nila, maganda. Pero kung magiging ganito din ang experience namen, might as well look for other companies. mejo mataas nga ang presyo pero will be worry and stress free. =)

kapag ganiyan ang serbisyo ibig sabihin sila mismo walang internal system. walang coordination ang kanilang trabaho at hindi motivated ang mga empleyado.

nakakatakot kumuha ng serbisyo sa ganitong kumpanya. kasi, hindi nila kayo mabibigyan ng tamang treatment. mas malamang ang kapalpakan at wala sa tamang oras na pagdi-deliver ng serbisyo.

sayang sila. maraming kliyente ang turn-off na sa kanila. sana baguhin na nila ang sistema nila. sa panahon ngayon, kapag hindi mo nabigyan ng magandang serbisyo o at least na-pamper ang kliyente, sa bilis ng teknolohiya, assasinated ka na agad! sana itanim nila sa kukote yan.

not apologetic? tsk tsk tsk…palalabasin na customer pa ang mali! that’s bad! no matter how demanding and difficult the customer is, practice to say ’sorry’. is that hard to say? charisse, don’t every pamukha sa customer that they’re wrong. practice to be humble, hindi yung ikaw pa ang mataas ang ere at super defensive. after all, you cannot live without us.

tandaan mo: the moment you bite the customer, they bite back much fiercer and won’t leave you not hurt and down.

i started planning weddings last year for friends&relatives, and now as a semi-pro..
i got lots brochures from niceprint and good packages. i was about to book one of my feb 2010 clients there buti nlang i searched the net and saw your blog.

this is really helpful.

i am very thankful my own wedding was done by Dino Lara’s studio. and for those who has budget, they are perfect.

now, i’m going to look for an alternative studio for my next wedding on feb.

badtrip talaga yang nicerint. biro mo ba naman ang nag aasikaso lang ng lahat dyan ay yung mga tauhan.

*normal lang yung dahil trabaho nila yun diba*

pero, dahil sa hindi inaasikaso ng boss nila na si charise yung biznez nyang yan eh yung gma tao nila mismo ang kumukuha ng mga lalabas na photographers nila. kahit sino pwede, kahit amateur pwede rin, inexperience in wedding photography pwede basta marunong ka lang sumilip sa camera at pumindot pwede.

lam nyo daming error talaga ng niceprint kasi yung amo nila ay puros asa lang sa tauhan nya.

minsan nga tumanggap sila ng 35 events in 1 day. yung 888 na wedding day. 35 events ang araw na yun sa kanila. dami diba? pero wag ka sa dami nyan ay sobrang dami din ang nagreklamo sa kanila after that day.

kesyo di raw maganda yung shots, di daw nakadamit ng maayos yung mga crew na dumating dun na kala mo daw aattend ng party na parang gigimick lang. yung isa pa na narinig ko na nagreklamo ay kesyo yung videoman daw ang daladalang vidcamera ay yung mas mababa pa sa gamit ng mga amateurs.

hindi ko sila sinisiraan ang sa akin lang naman ay ayusin nila yung mga trabaho nila. hindi yung kung sino sino lang ang kukunin nilang photographer or videographer. yung mga layout din halos alang background panay puti or itim lang yung bacground na pinatong lang ang mga photos. walang enhancement na ginagawa. parang alang effort. pero yung mga pansample nila grabe sa ganda ng layout pag nakita mo sa office nila. ganun din sa video editing masyadong plain. walang art or drama.

gusto nyo malaman kung nag sisinungaling ako o hinde?

try nyo mag apply dun na photogrpaher. panigurado kukunin ka nila ng walang tanong tanong kung anong camera ginagamit mo or may certificate ka ba? lalo na this coming december tambak ang ikakasal.

napag alaman ko ito palang si charisse tinio hindi naman pala photographer, negosyante pala kaya naman pala naka sahod lng ang kamay nya sa mga ibinababayad natin hay naku…..meron kc akong nakita na pic sa baba nakalagay photo by charisse tinio napag alaman ko hindi pala sya ang kumuha nun…..totoo ilan ilan lng ang magaling sa mga tao nya yun iba palpak na masuwerte ka pag sau na assign yun magaling, mga freelance nya yata yun magagaling minsan lng kunin kapag ang package mo malaki yun ang kukuha sau kapag mababa sori ka yun mangingisda sa navotas ang kukuha ng wedding mo kamote pa sa kamote!!!!!

hello. im really sorry with ur bad experiences sa nice print. im a previous client of them din.2008. nagulat ako sa mga nabasa ko. coz unlike u guys, im VERY SATISFIED with their services. to think na super mura ng package na inavail nmen. all of the staffs are very courteous. and very professional. lahat ng nkalagay sa contract ko nasunod, and it was great. i also read one of the comments here regrading the foods,. mostly sa mga photographers,not all ang nsa contract tlga ung fud nla e nsa buffet. and all of the caterers nman provide crew meal. same meal ‘to sa menu ng guest but the cost is about half lng ng original rate per head sa guest. as u’ve said, wedding is just a one day celebration at di na mababalik.so make the most out of it. u should know how to treat ur suppliers right. kc kahit supplier lng yan, at binabayadan lng naten cla for their services, we should always keep in mind na ang event/wedding naten e nakasalalay sa knila.pag di nten cla tnreat ng tama, pwede nilang sirain ung wedding naten. kya ako, when it comes to food, lhat ng suppliers ko, kht driver lng yan, sa buffet ko pinakain. its my wedding and everyone should be happy. wlang kinakawawa. porket ba supplier ka lng, mumurahin lng ang fud mo? i think di lng xa tama. my wedding isnt succesful as we all wished, pero im satisfied naman.kc everyones happy, everyone gave their best shot. lalo na ung photographers ko. just giving my 2 cents here.
